Our primary technician is a citizen of both Costa Rica and the United States. He is the system designer and has been working in the US and Canada on computer systems since 1981. Throughout the 70's much of his time was spent installing transmission equipment for television in northern California, Nevada, and North Dakota. The 80’s were filled with satellite communications including commercial and residential television. In the early 90's he started building computer networks for small to medium sized businesses. Now after living in Costa Rica for 8 years he has designed one of the most reliable means of providing internet service in the central valley. Initially our customer base was solely composed of those that had no other method available to access the web less an internet cafe.

It is very likely that she was not only the youngest woman to receive SUTEL approval for providing internet, but also the only female to have done so in Costa Rica's history at that time. Her communication skills in her native tongue with the government of Costa Rica, telecommunication companies, ICE, tax department, banking institutions, attorneys, and SUTEL made her dream come true. Her willingness to push herself six or seven days a week for over two years while learning English in the process paid off. The rest of us here that have been involved in this company's history can only say thanks to Linda for her determination and drive that was required to make CRWIFI Ltda. what it is today. She still remains an integral part of all primary level decisions to this day.
